MS, LMFT, LMHC
The journey of Jennifer’s qualifications began over a decade ago when she took her first position in the field, as a mental health technician at a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents. Jennifer worked there while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University. From there she entered graduate school at Palm Beach Atlantic University and the tough field of social work as a case manager then supervisor. Upon graduating with her master’s degree in counseling psychology, Jennifer entered licensure track and took a position as a clinical coordinator at a substance abuse treatment facility.
Once fully licensed as a mental health counselor and marriage & family therapist, Jennifer accepted a position as a clinical director and opened her private practice. In August of 2015 she took the plunge full time into private practice, launching her Juno Beach location. The past two years have been spent discovering her passion for working with couples and sharpening her clinical skills for this population via specialized training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Jennifer joined AMHC in May of 2017 and offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy. For more information about Jennifer, click here.
