FEES
Welcome to Advanced Mental Health Care, where we provide comprehensive individualized services to all of our patients. We operate a fee-for-service psychiatric practice for discerning patients who value the highest quality medical care.
Your initial appointment will be an hour, and subsequent appointment durations vary but are never less than thirty minutes. The fees are prorated.
Time spent on the phone, emailing or writing letters is billed at the same hourly rate. Communication with family, friends or other professionals is billed to the patient.
Missed appointments are charged the full rate unless they are canceled 48 hours in advance. This is not a punishment. You purchase our time and we will not double book. If we would not charge for that time we would not be able to offer our level of service. You can have a phone or web-cam session if you cannot make it to the office on time.
We provide house calls to patients who are housebound or require in-home therapies. When we travel to see a patient, our time is billed at the same hourly rate.
All of our services are considered out of the network for insurance reimbursement purposes. You may be able to get reimbursed from your insurance company for a percentage of what you pay us depending on your policy. For example, you may have a 60% out of network coverage. This means you can get $180 back for our $300 fee. You will need to submit paperwork demonstrating that you had the visits and that you have already paid for your visit. Most patients fill these forms out once a month.

The money you spend in therapy out of network may also count towards your insurance deductible.
